What is the difference between 7075 and 7075 T6?
7075 contains zinc as the primary alloy addition and possesses excellent fatigue properties. However, in the T6 temper its fracture toughness can be inferior to other alloy choices. It has excellent mechanical properties, and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness and good fatigue resistance.
What is the difference between 7075 T6 and 7075 T73?
By comparison, T73 has lower strength, more flexibility, and provides a better product in extended high-stress environments. To reach this state, the material is heat-treated and aged to T6, but then they continue aging it. By overaging the material into the T73, it loses some strength but increases in durability.
What is the difference between 6061-T6 and 6063 T6 aluminum alloy?

1000 Series:Industrial Pure Aluminum

2000 Series:Aluminum-copper alloys

3000 Series:Aluminum-manganese alloys
